HMVC and its family and friends takes the high road to Scotland for its 2017 tour on 27th September.
The tour includes two formal concerts and a number of mini concerts :
Friday 29th September – evening concert at St Michael’s Church, Linlithgow jointly with the Linlithgow Rugby Club Male Voice Choir and Toccata Ladies Choir with the Children of Chernobyl charity as the key beneficiary.
Sunday 1st October – afternoon concert at Stirling Albert Hall jointly with Stirling Male Voice Choir and Hillfoots Music for Youth – in aid of charities providing support in respect of Alzheimers, Home-Start and multiple sclerosis.
Monday 2nd October – mini concert at “ the House of Bruar “ Blair Atholl
Tuesday 3rd October – mini concert at the Ocean Terminal Edinburgh
Hart MVC will be performing songs from across its eclectic repertoire including African Trilogy, Highland Cathedral and The Water is Wide.
The Choir’s very own Caledonian, Andy McLaren, has masterminded a cultural immersion programme for the choir which includes a distillery visit, Highland Games and a ceilidh.
On 4th October we return homeward “ tae think again.”
